Make the Most of Your Post a Note Account

How to get the most out of your PAN account

What makes Post a Note unique is that YOU run the show. Now, to maximize your outcome, we’d like to use this week’s blog to set you up for success.

You’re a Seller

1) Bookmark the Site

Save yourself some time by bookmarking Post a Note. This will allow you to access the site with one click rather than having to enter the URL into your browser every time you’d like to access the site.

2) Register

As a registered user, you can see all ads you’ve ever posted on the site (in your account settings). You can also change your ads, add additional photos, deactivate, or delete your ads there. In addition, you can also manage your alerts, change your user name, email addresses, location, and other account information. And of course, you can post additional listings from there as well. You hold the keys to your success.

3) Write Attractive Ads

In a previous blog post we shared some tips and tricks with you that will allow you to write successful ads.

To summarize:

    • Choose the right category
    • Develop an attractive title and outline the strongest point in about 3-5 words
    • Content rules. Be honest to save yourself and potential buyers time. Keep your ad short and sweet.
    • Use photos
    • Set a fair price

3) Use Alerts to Stay Informed

When browsing through the site, you’ll notice some listings of users who are looking for items. If you’d like to maximize your profit of the website, you can set alerts that will inform you when new posts that contain the word “wanted,” are being posted. To set an alert on “wanted”, simply

    • Search for “wanted” on the site
    • Shift the slider next to “Receive Email Alerts for these results” to “ON”
    • Congratulations, you’ve just set alerts for items that are “wanted”

4) Check Your Emails Regularly

Make sure to check your emails on a daily basis, as potential buyers will appreciate a fast response. It will also allow you to meet the buyers before other sellers close their deals with them on similar items. Also, keep in mind that buyers will appreciate if you respond to them even if the item has already sold. Alternatively, you can disable or delete your posting once the item has sold.

You’re a Buyer

1) Bookmark the Site

Save yourself some time by bookmarking Post a Note. This will allow you to access the site with one click rather than having to enter the URL into your browser every time you’d like to access the site.

2) Use alerts

If your desired item cannot be found under the current listings, you can set alerts that will inform you when new items are being posted. There are two ways to set alerts. You can either set alerts for entire categories/subcategories or you can place alerts on certain items that you are looking for.

  • Alerts for Categories and Subcategories

When you’re in the category or subcategories, simply shift the slider next to “Receive Email Alerts” to “ON”. Congratulations, you’ve now set alerts!

  • Alerts for Items

To set an alert on a certain item, simply

    • Search for the item in the search function on the Post a Note site
    • Shift the slider next to “Receive Email Alerts for these results” to “ON”
    • Congratulations, you’re all set!

3) Check Your Emails Regularly

When you set alerts or write to sellers, check your emails regularly.

4) Connect With Us

Our team regularly posts featured items from the website in our facebook and twitter feeds. It’s an easy way for you to get introduced to a few items every day, without being flooded with information.
